הפרוטוקול מתאר פלטפורמה מיקרופלואידית מתקדמת למדידה כמותית של דינמיקת הפרשת ציטוקינים של תאי דם חד-גרעיניים היקפיים אנושיים בודדים. הפלטפורמה מודדת עד שלושה ציטוקינים במקביל (IL-6, TNFα ו-IL-1β) עבור כל תא בודד המגורה באמצעות ליפופוליסכריד כדוגמה.
