Hazel Sive, PhD, is Dean of the College of Science and Mathematics and Professor of Biology at the University of Massachusetts Boston. She previously served as Dean of the College of Science at Northeastern University and was Professor of Biology at MIT, as well as a member of the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research and associate member of the Broad Institute. Her research focuses on neurodevelopmental disorders and the fundamental processes underlying brain and craniofacial development. Dr. Sive is also an award-winning educator and leader in science education and higher education innovation.
